Meet Kam, Early Years โ Roots of Resilience I was born in Kanpur, India, but grew up and received my education in Punjab, where my schooling was entirely in Punjabi and Hindi. English existed only in textbooks, not in daily conversations. My college life was similar โ I could read English but rarely spoke it with confidence. In the early 2000s, I began my career in Civil Engineering, but my curiosity and fascination for technology soon led me to explore something new.
2003 โ The Leap into IT
Driven by ambition and a desire to evolve, I transitioned into the world of Information Technology. It was a bold move โ shifting from construction sites to computer systems โ but it marked the beginning of a lifelong journey in tech. Working with a leading consultancy, I gained hands-on experience across mobile security, database management, and enterprise IT solutions, blending technical expertise with real-world strategy.

2006 โ A New Chapter in London
Moving to London, UK, opened a new world of opportunity and challenge. Surrounded by fluent English speakers and fast-paced professionals, I initially felt hesitant and unsure. But those moments of discomfort became lessons in resilience. Over time, I found my voice, adapted to a new culture, and built a career rooted in innovation, leadership, and continuous learning.
Onwards โ Discovering Salesforce & Mentorship
My journey into CRM systems began with Microsoft Dynamics, but it was Salesforce that truly ignited my passion. It offered more than technology โ it was a platform for transformation and impact. As I grew within the Salesforce ecosystem, I discovered purpose in mentorship โ helping others find their confidence, direction, and growth in the tech world.
Between 2021 & 2023โ The Birth of Kamโs Tech Talk (#KTTC)
What began as one-to-one mentorship sessions evolved into Kamโs Tech Talk (ksm1313live) โ a growing community where professionals learn, connect, and grow together. Guided by the Sikh principle of Sewa (selfless service), Kamโs Tech Talk reflects my personal commitment to collaboration, empowerment, and lifelong learning. It started as an individual effort to support professionals in their career journeys and continues to inspire growth through shared knowledge and guidance.

2025 Sep โ Why – The Spirit of Punjabiforce
During my first meeting with someone, I felt the time had come to do something greater for our community โ something I had been missing while working independently in the Salesforce and tech space. As a Punjabi, the values were always there, but with this name, the reach and collaboration can grow. It gives others the chance to be part of a supportive circle of people from all backgrounds, united by learning, culture, and career growth.
Punjabiforce was created to represent our Punjabi identity โ our roots, culture, and sense of belonging โ while welcoming anyone in the Salesforce and tech ecosystem who believes in unity and support. We envisioned a space where people could come together, help one another, and remove hesitation. That vision became Punjabiforce.
